How To Change Grafana Server Default Port

Grafana is an Open Source data visualization tool for monitoring & analytics. you can change the Grafana server default port by making changes in the configuration file. Is Grafana free and start Grafana service and you can also do Grafana dashboard creation. we can run this server on a  different port by making changes in grafana.ini file.

So, I have installed Grafana 6.1 version using the rpm Package downloaded from here for Redhat/Centos Download. you should use Grafana for data visualization in your organization to realize the data and find out the issues which you’re facing.

Default port defined

create grafana dashboard

Check version

grafana-cli -v

Start the Service

systemctl restart grafana-server

Change grafana port in this file vim /etc/grafana/grafana.ini

So, I have changed the default 3000 port to 4000

Add port in the firewall to access it from outside the network.

firewall-cmd –permanent –add-port=4000/tcp

firewall-cmd –reload

create grafana dashboard

Access the grafana dashboard with 4000 port, URL is http://ipaddress:4000

change grafana port
