How To Create bucket In S3 Storage On AWS Cloud

You can create up to 100 buckets in each of your AWS accounts and it can be increased maximum up to 1000 buckets. you will have to raise a service ticket. We can create an S3 storage bucket in AWS. Let’s see, how to create a bucket.

Just type ‘S3’ in a search bar and you will see output like the below figure.

Click on Create Bucket and select the region where you want to create it.


By default, AWS keeps block all public access. If you need to change it, you can do according to your need.

You can choose to enable and disable object lock settings in advanced options.

The bucket has been created.

Now I will create a Folder inside this bucket and will start uploading the files. You can start uploading the files directly in this bucket. You can also enable encryption. so

aws s3 bucket

Now go to the folder and click on upload then select the files. so

Next step, we will set the permission on these files. If you need to have it. so

If you want to give access to other AWS account users. You can click on add account and put the email id then grant permission like read, write, etc. so

Click on Next, now these files will automatically be uploaded in the standard. You can change it here.

After reviewing the settings, you can click on upload and see the file has been uploaded in this folder. so

If you want to check the URL of this object, select the image. so

This will be an object URL for this image. You can either use these URL or download the files. so
