How To Install Docker Compose Command In Docker Linux

This is a tool for defining and running for multiple container apps. you can use YAML to configure the applications services. You can find the docker-compose configuration and version. By default, this is not installed and you will get docker-compose command not found and after installed you restart the services. so

you can see docker-compose command not installed on the machine. 
docker compose
docker

Docker-compose also helps you create clustering using the script written in YAML format. you can define the steps in this file and just run using the below commands. so

Note: There must have a docker installed on the machine. 

Let’s begin the installation of Docker-Compose so

Step 1: you need to download the docker-compose package.

curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.24.1/docker-compose-$(uname-s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose

download the docker compose

Step 2 : you have to give execution permission to the binary.

chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose

Note : if docker-command fails after installation, so you need to find the path and create the symbolic link.

ln -s /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/bin/docker-compose

Step 3 : Check the docker-compose command 

docker-compose –version

check version docker

docker-compose version 1.24.1 installed.
