How To Install Docker Compose Command In Docker Linux
Install Docker Compose Command on Linux. This is a tool for defining and running for multiple docker container apps. you can use yaml to configure the applications services. you can see docker-compose command not installed on the machine.
Docker-compose also helps you create clustering using the script written in yaml format. you can define the steps in this file and just run using the below commands.
Note : There must have docker installed on the machine.
Let’s begin the installation of Docker-Compose
Step 1 : you need to download the docker compose package.
curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.24.1/docker-compose-$(uname-s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
2 : you have to give execution permission to the binary.
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
Note : if docker-command fails after installation, so you need to find the path and create the symbolic link.
ln -s /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/bin/docker-compose
3 : Check the docker-compose command
docker-compose version 1.24.1 installed.
