How To Install Openshot Video Editor On Ubuntu 20.04

System Requirements:

  • 64-Bit Operating System (Linux, Windows 7/8/10) 
  • Multi-core processor with 64-Bit support
  • 4-GB of RAM
  • 500 MB of hard disk space to install

There’re two ways of installing the OpenShot video editor on ubuntu. 
  1. Add the stable PPA repository
[email protected]:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa
[email protected]:~$ sudo apt update
[email protected]:~$ sudo apt-get install openshot-qt

Once you have installed the packages using the above command. Now I will search it using ‘OpenShot’ as you can see in the below figure.

2. Use the OpenShot App Image From the official site. we can download the APP image from the site.
