How To Install Rancher Server In Linux
Rancher is an Open Source Multi Cluster Management tool for Kubernetes as a service. You can easily deploy, manage and secure kubernetes anywhere. Rancher is simple as Launching as two container. One container as a Management server and another container on a node as an agent.
I will install only Rancher Server on this machine. So i also need a docker installed here.
yum install docker -y
Check Out : Install Docker CE
Start Service and enable at boot time
systemctl start docker && systemctl enable docker
Now install the Rancher Server
Check Out : Docker Service Start to Failed
docker run -d –restart=unless-stopped -p 9090:8080 rancher/server
Rancher Container has been created
Add Port 9090 in firewall to access from outside.
firewall-cmd –permanent –add-port=9090/tcp
Now access the Rancher with http:ip:9090 in the browser
As you can see Rancher Server installed now you can add hosts.
