Installed Times Roman Font

TTF stands for TrueType Fonts

Method 1 :

sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer

After running above command it will ask you to accept the license. So click on OK

Now it will ask you to configure ttf-mscorefonts-installer So click on Yes

Now it will start installing the ttf-mscorefonts-installer after sometimes you will see all fonts has been installed.

Method 2: You can easily find fonts on google and You can also find the fonts which you want to place on your machine from here Fonts Squirrel.

After downloading the fonts either in TTF or OTF (Open-type Fonts) formats.

Just double click on it and you will see the option to install in the top right corner.

Method 3: if you want to install Several fonts once in Ubuntu. So first you need to find if there is any hidden directory named .fonts in your home directory. If not, you need to create it with .fonts and extract the fonts here.

Just type in terminal, ls -a or ctrl + H

sudo apt-get install font-manager

Remove font manager

sudo apr-get remove font-manager
