How To Solve Printer Spooler Problem In Windows 10

When you face print stuck in the queue and you will have to restart the print spooler service in windows 10. Let’s see, how to solve and fix printer spooler problems without restart the windows.

We can fix the printer spooler error problem in windows 10. you can face the same issue on all other windows platforms. 

This is so frustrating situation we sometimes face while working in the windows machine. We have a solution for it but it doesn’t work. we need to restart the machine and open all the files again.

When you face the printer stuck in the queue in your windows machine and you’re not able to get the printout.  

How To Fix Printer Spooler Problem windows 10:

Once you have faced this issue, you need to open the printer service and just type “services.msc” in run command.

When you open the services then you need to look for "printer spooler"  and stop
the service.

Double click on it and a window will open. we need to stop the service & apply.

Once you have stopped the service then you have to open the printer queue and
delete all the pending print.

When you deleted the queue in the printer list then we have to go back to the “services.msc” and start the service. After restarting, you will be able to send the print.

How To Check Print Queue Using CMD:

You can also check the print in the queue using the command line in the windows machine. we have an inbuilt command in windows that’s printer command.

c:\> net print \\<server>\<print share>

How To Resolve Printer Queue Using CMD:

Search “command prompt” or “ctlr+r” and Open the command prompt as administrator.  Run the following commands.

Stop the printer service: 

c:\> net stop spooler

The below command will delete the printer folder contents.

c:\> del /Q /F /S "%systemroot%\System32\Spool\Printers\*.*"

Start the printer service: 

c:\> net start spooler

The above steps are also the same for all windows systems.
