Step By Step Installation of MySQL Workbench

Installation of MySQL Workbench used to monitor the Database Server. If you don’t know SQL queries. You can download the MySQL for Ubuntu from here

This is a Graphical User Interface tool for MySQL. This allows you to design, create and browse your database schema, insert, update and more.

Let’s Begin 

Step 1 : I have downloaded the .deb Package of MySQL for Ubuntu 18.04.

sudo dpkg -i mysql-workbench-community_8.0.16-1ubuntu18.04_amd64.deb

If you do install using dpkg command, there will be some dependencies for installing MySQL Workbench.

Step 2 : Install the Dependencies

sudo apt-get install libpcrecpp0v5 libgtkmm-3.0-1v5 libzip4

Step 3 : Now run the below command to install 

sudo dpkg -i mysql-workbench-community_8.0.16-1ubuntu18.04_amd64.deb

Check Out : Mysql Error “Access denied for user ‘user’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) “

Step 4 : MySQL installed On Ubuntu and Check with mysql-workbench
