Step To Install Google On Ubuntu 

Step to install Google is a very fast and secure web browser among all the other browsers. We can install google chrome for ubuntu as well as in Linux. There will be Mozilla by default installed in the Linux machine. we can use the Debian package.  We will also install the chrome using the terminal in ubuntu 18.04. so

If you want to install google chrome in the Linux machine, You will have to
follow these steps.

Install Google Chrome:

In this article, I will show you how to install using the Kernal Terminal on the Ubuntu machine. so

Step 1. Go the Google Chrome download page for downloading the setup for the Linux machine. so

After downloading the Packages. s

install chrome ubuntu

Go to the download location on your machine. install chrome debian

chrome for ubuntu

Step 2: Run the command to install. so

sudo dpkg –I google_chrome_stable_current_amd64.deb

If you’re non-root user, Use sudo to execute the command. debian chrome install

google chrome install

If you face any error in installing the Google Chrome, Run this command
sudo apt-get –f install

This command will fix all the broken dependencies. so

Step 3: Verify Whether it is installed or not, so

Via Kernel Terminal type google-chrome

Or go to the search type Google Chrome. s

Install Google Chrome Using The Command Line:

We can also install the google chrome using the command line on Ubuntu machine. we will have to add the path in the source file of Ubuntu.

pankaj@ubuntu:~$ sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list

Add the below line in the above file.

deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main

Now we will add the Google singing key using the below command.

pankaj@ubuntu:~$ sudo wget https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub
--2020-05-17 11:43:58-- https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub

Once the key is added we will use apt-key to add into our keyring. The package manager can verify the google integration key.

pankaj@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-key add linux_signing_key.pub
OK

Now we will start installing the Google-chrome using the below commands.

pankaj@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt install google-chrome-stable

Once the installation finished, open the chrome using google-chrome from the terminal. it will ask you to make it default. 

Click on “ok” and you will see the google chrome installed.
