Step to install Grafana is an Open Source dashboard tool that helps you to query, visualize, alerts on, and understand your metrics it does not matter where they are stored. It gives you a great view of data and visualization using the source database. We can install and configure the Grafana monitoring tool server using rpm in Linux. so

Step To Install Grafana Monitoring Tool:

Currently, Grafana releases a 5.1.0 version before it was 5.0.4 version. It usually works with graphite, influx-DB, and OpenBSD. It helps you to create, edit the dashboard. so

Installation Begins so

I’m assuming you have downloaded the latest version from I have downloaded Grafana version 5.0.3 from the official website for redhat.

grafana install using rpm

Now run the command to install it. so

rpm –ivh  grafana-5.0.3-1.x86_64.rpm

if the above command does not work then try. so

yum install grafana-5.0.3-1.x86_64.rpm

Go to Grafana configuration path /etc/grafana/grafana/ini

Grafana LDAP file path /etc/grafana/ldap.toml so

the default password for login Grafana will be username admin and password admin. so

Go to the URL for accessing the Grafana on browser so


Now you will be able to see Grafana dashboard so
